The conference theme is Marginalised gender identities – how can intellectual activism transform work and organization? Marginalized gender identities include women ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gwao.12830 ), the LGBTQ+ ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1468-0432.2007.00364.x ) community, and non-normative ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gwao.12140 ) heterosexual men, which further intersect with race ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gwao.12525 ), ethnicity, religion ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gwao.12256 ), class ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gwao.12561 ), bodily ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gwao.12531 ) and cognitive ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gwao.12261 ) ability, nationality ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gwao.12137 ), geospatial ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gwao.12423 ) and socioeconomic origin or placement, educational ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gwao.12719 ) background, and job type ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gwao.12100 ).\nLaunched in 1994, Gender, Work and Organization was the first journal to provide an arena dedicated to debate and analysis of gender relations, the organisation of gender and the gendering of organisations. GWO provides an international forum for debate and analysis of contemporary issues affecting gender studies at work, in organizing work, and in jobs.
